At Luciana’s Legacy Children’s Foundation, our mission is to assist families with medical and special needs children who are experiencing financial hardships while also raising funds for other organizations that impacted Luciana’s life. We aim to assist families with anything from affording groceries or paying a bill, to purchasing necessary medical/therapeutic equipment or therapies for their child(ren). We classify special needs as children under the age of 21 with any type of physical or cognitive disability or illness that affects their day-to-day life and may possibly limit their life span. In order to help as many families as possible, we have an up to $300 maximum one-time grant allowance per recipient family (with rare exceptions that would be made at our Board’s discretion). Families who wish to receive assistance must complete and submit the application form and submit any other information we may need to grant the request. Funds are awarded on a case-by-case basis. The foundation reserves the right to decline any application and/or ask for any additional information regarding each application. We accept applications at any time, and our board reviews applications once a month. Luciana’s Legacy Children’s Foundation is an equal opportunity organization and does not allow discrimination based upon age, ethnicity, ancestry, gender, gender expression, disability, race, political affiliation, religion sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, military status, or any other status prohibited by applicable law in any of its activities or operations, These activities include, but are not limited to, the appointment to and termination from its Board of Directors, selection of volunteers, selection of vendors, acceptance of donations, and selection of assistance requests to be fulfilled.
It is our goal to help other families on similar journeys to help make life slightly brighter on dark days. Please click here to make a request. Thank you, Corey and Marisa
